1. How can I connect with the car?
A diagnostic device is the interface that connects your PC to the car, and will let you perform the codings.
There are multiple ones to choose from, depending on your budget and needs. The ones below have been tested and are known to work, but other diagnostic devices might work as well.
It is a matter of downloading the app below, install the drivers, and if the connection to your vehicle is successful, you are good to go.

2. Download the MBTools app
To be able to fully enjoy the benefits of MBTools, you will need to fulfill the following requirements:
- A Windows 10 or 11 PC
- A reliable internet connection, throughout the whole time using the MBTools app.
- You will be able to set up the app and the drivers, but the paid activation and coding buttons will only become available once you have made the purchase, at step 3.
- If you have the MBTools app running, while making the purchase, please be sure to restart it afterwards, so that your permissions are refreshed, and the buttons become available.

Instrument Cluster AMG Menu
Description
Activate the AMG menu on the car, and customize it to show Water and Gearbox temperatures
After activation, it will also be possible to display the SuperSport design
It is possible to customize it with a 280km/h or 330km/h speed dial.
The coding procedure takes 5 minutes.
Considerations
Upon activating the AMG menu, the Progressive design mode can no longer be selected.
This will be replaced by the SuperSport design.
Some older models might need to have their firmware updated, to be able to display the new design.
The update procedure will take about 14 hours.
Enabling the AMG menu will make the RPM scale show up to 8k RPM. This is just a visual change, and has no impact on the vehicle's functionality.

Instrument Cluster Mileage Synchronization
Description
This product fixes a common issue that occurs when you replace your car's instrument cluster. If your new cluster shows dashes instead of mileage, this solution resets the mileage to 0, allowing you to set the correct mileage from your car.
The procedure takes 5 minutes.
Considerations
We do not actively support mileage manipulation. If you want to achieve mileage other than original, a CAN filter is required separately, which we do not sell, or offer support for.

Disable Seat Belt Warning
Description
This activation comes free of charge, and gives you the ability to disable the annoying seat belt warning sound.

Description
This activation comes free of charge, and gives you the ability to change the fuel level unit, between percentage or quantity (liter/gallons).

Map Update
Description
Update your Mercedes Navigation to the latest version.
The update procedure takes about 1 hour.

Description

Description

Description

Description
One of the coolest features of this HeadUnit, is the ability to display engine data, such as Kw/HP and Nm data, as well as temperatures.

Description
If you are retrofitting the chinese ambient lights module, then coding the feature in the headunit is possible.

Description
This feature allows you to measure how fast you reach 100km/h, make graphs, and all sorts of other cool sporty features.

Headunit/Navi Energizing Comfort
Description
The energizing comfort is a Premium Mercedes feature, that integrates the various systems that the car has.
Depending on the features your car has, it can enable relaxation programs, that will integrate the climate control, ambient light, massaging seat, seat cooling, seat heating, etc.

Headunit/Navi Radio Frequency Change
Description
Modify the Radio Frequency, select between USA, EU, Japan, Australia, China, South America frequencies

Change the map region
Description
If you are installing the maps of a different region, before updating, you must also code this change in the headunit.

This functionality is available only between Europe - US - Middle-East regions.

Disable the engine Start/Stop
Description
This activation comes free of charge.
The Start/Stop feature has been originally implemented to save fuel, however, over time, people reported that they started having premature battery and engine wear problems because of it.
This feature will let you save the Last Mode of the Start/Stop functionality. This means that the Start/Stop functionality will keep the status even after turning the car off then on again.
