Download and install the software that will allow you to get the latest map files from HERE for free.
Choose your appropriate map data, and download it to a USB stick or SD card that has been accordingly formatted
Insert the USB stick or SD card into the headunit slot. If the map data matches, and the memory stick has been accordingly formatted, the update process will begin automatically and you will be prompted for a Navi Map PIN code.
At this point, you are ready to pay for, and instantly generate the required activation PIN code, from this page
Once the PIN code is generated, it will be instantly sent to your email. Or you can also find it in your Activity Log

Generate your Mercedes map PIN code today! Prices starting at 70 €
Requirements:
You will need an internet connected Windows 10/11 PC, with enough HDD space, to be able to download the map files
A USB 2.0 or SD memory card, either of which must have sufficient space, to store the map files (depending on which region you download your map, for)
Basic PC handling knowledge, to be able to download the map files (please see the below video guide, to see what you can expect)
Please keep in mind:
You are paying only for the map pin code generation, not the map data itself
COMAND headunits are supported, while Audio/Becker Map Pilot updates are not.
Refunds are not possible after a map PIN code has been generated. However, our map PIN codes are guaranteed to work, provided that the correct parameters are set.
Ensure that the new map is for the same region as your previous one. If you need to change regions, this requires a separate process that requires a diagnostic device, and it is not a service we currently offer.
Map pin codes have no expiration time. Once generated, they can be (re)used at any time, as long as the input parameters remain the same (headunit model, vin, map region and map version)
The VIN you use to generate the activation pin is that of the car where the headunit is currently installed on (and not the VIN of the donor car, in case of a retrofitted headunit).
