How to fix the FDCT Transmission?
What is the P051300 error code?
The P051300 can sometimes occur in FDCT transmissions in the w176, w177 A-class, w117, w118 CLA-class, w156, w157 GLA-class, and w246, w247 B-class vehicles.
It happens when the battery voltage drops too low. The data in the memory of the FDCT transmission is getting corrupted.
Up until recently, there was no fix for this problem, and the only way to make the car start up, was to buy a new transmission module, that costs between 400 and 600 €.
Luckily, there is now a way to fix this problem, with the right tools, for a fraction of the price.
With this service you are able to repair the FBS3 and FBS4 drive authorization problem with the following fault code: P051300 The start enable was not inssued.
Please be aware that this is only a calculation function which require data reading from the FDCT transmission module with additional tools.
Some of the recommended tools for such operation are FC200 or FLEX or CMD
Using this solution costs 200 € per car.

You can successfully apply a fix to a file only if no previous attempts of repair have been made, on the file you are about to upload. Attempting to perform SCN coding before extracting the binary file from the transmission will render any future repairs on the transmission unachievable.

This solution is suitable for both FBS3 and FBS4 transmissions, but only 7g. The 8g (8 speed) transmissions can not be fixed by this solution!

After you read the transmission module EEPROM data and save it, upload it in the calculator and save the extracted file. Write the extracted EEPROM data with some of the mentioned tools above.
After the data is written turn off ignition for 10 seconds and then start the car. The transmission is now fully functional and there is no more problems with engine start or gear shifting.
The file that you read using the above tools, should be around 128KB.
If you read it using FC200, the file name will end with DFLASH.bin
If you read it using Flex, the file name will end with int_eeprom.bin
